Vaginal aplasia is the term used to describe the incomplete formation of the vagina, as a result of various syndromes, such as the Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser syndrome, androgen insensitivity syndrome, Swyer syndrome or Turner syndrome

There are several different ways of treating vaginal aplasia. Thanks to the development of new techniques and instruments, the treatment of choice at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Tübingen University Hospital is a minimally invasive method of extension via keyhole surgery on the abdomen. This successful method has been in use in Tübingen for several years now.
